Hermes Regueira started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Kappasul Sport Club defense, Hermes Regueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Águas. The Kappasul Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Águas should have stopped the shot. Leonel Águas was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Alberto Portugal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Portugal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Machada FC booed when Kappasul Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angélico Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th play minute Mário Leite came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonel Águas. 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Alberto Portugal made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Águas. Kappasul Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. With an all-out effort, Machada FC's Leonel Águas threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermes Regueira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Leonel Águas came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Machada FC's Alberto Portugal. But to his dismay, Alberto Portugal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 59 minutes into the game, Gaspar Monsanto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kappasul Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Machada FC the free kick. In the 59th minute, Gaspar Monsanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kappasul Sport Club's Leonel Águas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Gueifão in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Mário Leite put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leonel Águas. Kappasul Sport Club's Leonel Águas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Leite in the 92nd minute of play. Leonel Águas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Machada FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
