Jedrzej Pysz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Reinaldo Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hugo Sousa TTC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Loureiro couldn't finish the play. Jaime Amaro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Cândido Ramires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hugo Sousa TTC's Albertino Perdigão in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cândido Ramires was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Borneiros Gaia F.C. booed when Hugo Sousa TTC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Ramires in the 61st minute of play forced Hugo Sousa TTC's goalkeeper Afonso Brites to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Albertino Perdigão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wu Yong saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 71st minute, Cândido Ramires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Brites was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Hugo Sousa TTC's Jaime Amaro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wu Yong but with some difficulty. Wu Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Amaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Borneiros Gaia F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hugo Sousa TTC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
