Spectators: 7983 (Terracing: 5988, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Karapetkov took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute of the game Jorge Pais made a throw-in which António Viegas played forward. After having played for 13 minutes, António Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. União Caparica's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Karapetkov scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Durval Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Horta in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Redundo's zone, António Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval Maia came out of the goal and António Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Horta struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Durval Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for União Caparica. Cristiano Vilaverde kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Karapetkov in the 34th minute of play forced Redundo's goalkeeper Durval Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Redundo's Yuri Veríssimo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Durval Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Karapetkov in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Albert Karapetkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Maia. Redundo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Karapetkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Assunção to strike the kick off in the second half. When Artur Horta in the 55th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Durval Maia kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrício Salgueiro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrício Salgueiro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Nicolas Assunção hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Albert Karapetkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The União Caparica fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when União Caparica's Albert Karapetkov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. União Caparica's Cristiano Vilaverde managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teófilo Veiga in the 80 minute of the game. Redundo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Albert Karapetkov scored to the left of an out of position Durval Maia, making the score, 0-5. In the 89th minute António Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Maia made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Albert Karapetkov sent off a good shot on target.
