With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Cortez in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Vaz saved Ken United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Gueifão in the 4th minute of play forced Ken United's goalkeeper Jacinto Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When LeoMel F.C.'s Cássio Cortez in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ken United's goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Cortez in the 7th minute of the match. Afonso Viveiros struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jacinto Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LeoMel F.C.. Jacinto Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Cortez's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Rui Bento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Rogério Boaventura made a huge save. Jacinto Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Cortez in the 17th minute of the match. Jacinto Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Cortez in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Vaz saved Ken United from getting behind. Hipólito Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jacinto Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cássio Cortez sped through Ken United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacinto Vaz. 27 minutes into the game, LeoMel F.C.'s Catarino Gueifão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Cortez in the 30th minute of play forced Ken United's goalkeeper Jacinto Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipólito Peralta in the 31st minute of play. Jacinto Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Cortez went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Catarino Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Catarino Gueifão took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Vaz. Jacinto Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Jacinto Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Catarino Gueifão went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Damásio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ken United's zone, Cássio Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Vaz came out of the goal and Cássio Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as LeoMel F.C.'s Cássio Cortez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacinto Vaz. That made the score 0-6 after 57 minutes of play. The supporters of Ken United booed when LeoMel F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Caires didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Damásio in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Boaventura saved LeoMel F.C. from getting behind. With his leg Jacinto Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when LeoMel F.C.'s Cássio Cortez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacinto Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Luz in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Cássio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LeoMel F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LeoMel F.C.'s Adriano Lemos was substituted for Catarino Gueifão. Hipólito Peralta might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipólito Peralta ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Cortez in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Vaz saved Ken United from getting behind. Adriano Lemos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jacinto Vaz made a huge save. In the 79th minute Adriano Lemos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Cássio Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Vaz. Ken United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cássio Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Viriato Caires hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, LeoMel F.C.'s Vítor Esparteiro got a free kick in the 88th minute. A hard shot 91 in the game by Hipólito Peralta from a close distance when the talented Jacinto Vaz managed to make a qualified save. Ken United's players were relieved. The supporters of Ken United booed when LeoMel F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded LeoMel F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ken United.
