In the 12th minute Juvenal Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Reginaldo Padilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Norberto Souto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nathan De Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 53 minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lince FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flávio Lopes was slow to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Lince FC's zone, Iustinian Dincă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Maia came out of the goal and Iustinian Dincă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano Domingues in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lince FC's Jonathan Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Dincă in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lince FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
