The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Ford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sean Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cody Griffiths made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Ford in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenneth E. Blackwell in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Boulton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kenneth E. Blackwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Boulton having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth E. Blackwell in the 76th minute of play forced Oulton Broad's goalkeeper Adam Boulton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth E. Blackwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Boulton having to interfere. Ian Hamilton hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Ed Ackroyd fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Jeff Hyde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Hyde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Boulton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth E. Blackwell in the 90th minute of play. Kenneth E. Blackwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Adam Boulton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Oulton Broad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
