Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Connor Lagdon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Graeme Ellis came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Tatsfield FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graeme Ellis couldn't finish the play. Marc Poynton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Brian Greaves made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Tatsfield FC's Romeo Donaghy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Greaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With splendid footwork Romeo Donaghy arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 23rd minute. Romeo Donaghy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cuddington's Rich Newton got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Romeo Donaghy was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Romeo Donaghy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Greaves having to interfere. A collision led to Cuddington getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Brett Blewett hit a great ball. When Marc Poynton came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tatsfield FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Poynton couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Donaghy to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cuddington's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Poynton came free, but Brian Greaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Greaves came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Tatsfield FC's Marc Poynton. But to his dismay, Marc Poynton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Derek Simpson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Robertson having to make a save. Marc Poynton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Greaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Donaghy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Greaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Ellis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Tatsfield FC's Marc Poynton in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Romeo Donaghy ran back to his position shaking his head. Reggie Alsop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Brian Greaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Greaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Donaghy, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tatsfield FC's Graeme Ellis suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 84 minutes into the game, Brett Blewett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuddington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tatsfield FC the free kick. In the 85th minute, Brett Blewett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Poynton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Greaves having to interfere. Colin Gibson charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Colin Gibson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Cuddington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Gibson to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Tatsfield FC were the better team. Tatsfield FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
