Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conan Bayes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ballymagan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Bayes came free, but Emmet Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassidy Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Emmet Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmet Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassidy Frankson in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Ballymagan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cassidy Frankson came free, but Emmet Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ballymagan Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bree Holt was slow to take the kick. During this time Garnish's players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd minute Cassidy Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmet Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Garnish booed when Ballymagan Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Cassidy Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garnish's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassidy Frankson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Garnish getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Beehan Myler hit a great ball. A long shot from Berchan McNamara in the 41st minute of play was well struck, but Beag Callaghan made a really good save at the right post. Cassidy Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmet Palmer having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Ballymagan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cassidy Frankson came free, but Emmet Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lee Glen Crowe's late challenge caught a Garnish's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lee Glen Crowe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Lee Glen Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Ballymagan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cassidy Frankson came free, but Emmet Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harvey McGlynn to make the kick off. Cassidy Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey McGlynn in the 57th minute of play forced Garnish's goalkeeper Beag Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Ballymagan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Bayes came free, but Emmet Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassidy Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emmet Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cassidy Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Cassidy Frankson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cassidy Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Ballymagan Utd got a freekick which was hit by Lee Glen Crowe. The Ballymagan Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Garnish's performance. The match ended with a win for Garnish.
