The supporters of Ballyvaughan AFC booed when Drumlish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaine Caffey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Gehan Matthews mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyvaughan AFC and the Drumlish players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Ballyvaughan AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Drumlish:s goal. Braden McJohnny hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Paud Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bowen Harkin in the 29th minute of the match. Brasil Dunne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Paud Todd skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Drumlish booed when Ballyvaughan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breaghdha Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ballyvaughan AFC's Paud Todd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ballyvaughan AFC from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Ballyvaughan AFC's goalkeeper Paud Todd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brasil Dunne. In the 42nd minute, Beckett O'Neill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paud Todd came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Drumlish's Brasil Dunne. But to his dismay, Brasil Dunne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Paud Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bowen Harkin in the 47th minute of the match.

If Theodore Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paud Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bowen Harkin in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Theodore Doyle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donegan Harkin. The goal made the score 2-1. When Kaine Caffey fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drumlish's protests and gave Kaine Caffey a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Drumlish getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kaine Caffey hit a great ball. When Bowen Harkin came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Drumlish fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bowen Harkin couldn't finish the play. Carrigan Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
