Hickey McCollion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reamann McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bean Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hickey McCollion having to interfere. When Royan Crowe fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clon's protests and gave Royan Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. Royan Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Hickey McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bean Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Reamann McNamara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Boroimhe Hunt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Clon booed when Kiltulla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tady Gough didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hickey McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bean Ramsey in the 91st minute of the match. Hickey McCollion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reamann McNamara in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Bairee Robinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiltulla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clon the free kick. The Clon players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kiltulla from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
