In the 29th minute, Brennen Ryan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Garr FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Finnigan McMichel hit a great ball. The supporters of Lough AFC booed when Garr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donegan McJames didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Lough AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
