After 7 played minutes Swanlinbar Utd got a freekick which was hit by Kealan Lavine. Bangor's Gerard McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rownun McNamara in the 14th minute of play. Gerard McVictor came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Swanlinbar Utd's Beccan Bayes. But to his dismay, Beccan Bayes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Swanlinbar Utd's Beccan Bayes got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rownun McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerard McVictor had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Gearard Rogers's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gearard Rogers scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerard McVictor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Swanlinbar Utd's Finbar Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Robinson in the 31st minute of play. Rownun McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard McVictor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beccan Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beccan Bayes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gerard McVictor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Robinson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 43rd playminute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Rownun McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brant Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rownun McNamara struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gerard McVictor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swanlinbar Utd. Finbar Doyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brenainn Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bangor's zone, Beccan Bayes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard McVictor came out of the goal and Beccan Bayes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Rownun McNamara took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Gerard McVictor to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute, Ryley Delaney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Swanlinbar Utd's Finbar Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenainn Lester in the 68th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robin Robinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Finbar Doyle was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Rownun McNamara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swanlinbar Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rownun McNamara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beccan Bayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bangor's Rourke Cooney got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the game, one of Bangor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 91 minutes Bangor's goalkeeper Gerard McVictor managed, with a little bit of luck, save Gearard Rogers's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Gearard Rogers scored 1-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerard McVictor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Bangor's Gerard McVictor got control of the ball when Beccan Bayes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beccan Bayes took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerard McVictor. Gerard McVictor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6.
