Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kilcolumb's Lorcan Sheridan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rory Jameson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quirk Kirby's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. When Quirk Kirby came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Buncrana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quirk Kirby couldn't finish the play. Rory Jameson made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Edward Lavine sent off a good shot on target. Rory Jameson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Becan McLian. Finnigan Cooney succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quirk Kirby in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rory Jameson saved Kilcolumb from getting behind. Quirk Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rory Jameson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quirk Kirby succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 30th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quirk Kirby in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rory Jameson saved Kilcolumb from getting behind. Rory Jameson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quirk Kirby in the 35th minute of the match. When Buncrana FC's Quirk Kirby in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilcolumb's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute of the match Tomás McWillie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rory Jameson skillfully saved the ball. Bailey Myler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorcan Sheridan in the 45th minute of play. After 48 minutes Buncrana FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bairthmead John who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Lorcan Sheridan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 53 minutes, Quirk Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buncrana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quirk Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quirk Kirby in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rory Jameson saved Kilcolumb from getting behind. After having played for 66 minutes, Beamard Horgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilcolumb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beamard Horgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quirk Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rory Jameson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Finnigan Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quirk Kirby in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rory Jameson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harrigan Barrett's late challenge caught a Buncrana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harrigan Barrett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Kilcolumb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harrigan Barrett to maneuver through the defense. Rory Jameson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawd Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, Buncrana FC's Quirk Kirby made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rory Jameson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Buncrana FC's Finnigan Cooney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rory Jameson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Quirk Kirby put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rory Jameson. After 96 minutes of play, Buncrana FC's Finnigan Cooney made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rory Jameson was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Buncrana FC had played much better football throughout.
