Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Breas Colwell kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Donal Benson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blanaid McGlynn was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Donal Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Blanaid McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Prosperous Utd got a freekick which was hit by Briony Mulvihill. In the 19th minute, Bardan Cronin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blanaid McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breas Colwell in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Toran Cassin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pearse McSteve. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 28th minute Breas Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blanaid McGlynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Byrne in the 30th minute of play forced Prosperous Utd's goalkeeper Pearse McSteve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donald Caffey during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Prosperous Utd got a freekick which was hit by Donald Caffey. In the 42nd minute, Donn Keegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ricard Kelly from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Pearse McSteve's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Byrne to make the kick off. Gil Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearse McSteve having to interfere. Pearse McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toran Cassin in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Mulroog got a freekick which was hit by Rourke Deans. In the 56th minute, Oliver McJames sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mulroog's Blanaid McGlynn didn't even have to move. Gil Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearse McSteve having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Gil Byrne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pearse McSteve. Prosperous Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Byrne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Toran Cassin took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pearse McSteve. Pearse McSteve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Byrne in the 68th minute of play forced Prosperous Utd's goalkeeper Pearse McSteve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toran Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Pearse McSteve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Prosperous Utd getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Briony Mulvihill hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Prosperous Utd's Briony Mulvihill got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Ricard Kelly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pearse McSteve skillfully saved the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Mulroog's Toran Cassin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pearse McSteve made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Pearse McSteve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toran Cassin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donal Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
