The supporters of Nobber FC booed when Straheglin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irving Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berk McAaron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berrin McBjarton in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Straheglin booed when Nobber FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bellaghy Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barney McNamee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 20 minutes of play, Straheglin's Rorke Gough made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beartlai Jameson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boethis Todd hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Rorke Gough took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beartlai Jameson. Beartlai Jameson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berrin McBjarton in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berk McAaron saved Straheglin from getting behind. Beartlai Jameson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rorke Gough's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Rorke Gough came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Straheglin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rorke Gough couldn't finish the play. Rorke Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Beartlai Jameson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Scot Sheridan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scot Sheridan in the 52nd minute of play forced Nobber FC's goalkeeper Beartlai Jameson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berk McAaron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pearse McFrank's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scot Sheridan in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beartlai Jameson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Straheglin's Rorke Gough got a free kick in the 58th minute. Berrin McBjarton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berk McAaron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Rorke Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Nobber FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buach Barrett to maneuver through the defense. Beartlai Jameson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rorke Gough in the 71st minute of the match. If Pearse McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beartlai Jameson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Straheglin's Scot Sheridan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Rorke Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Scot Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beartlai Jameson having to interfere. Berrin McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Straheglin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
