Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beiti Glen Crowe started the match with the kick off. Ryan McOliver succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. Rahans FC's Boethis Cooney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brennon John in the 12th minute of play. Boethis Cooney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brennon John went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Nutgrove AFC booed when Rahans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan McOliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes, Donelle McPhil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nutgrove AFC and the Rahans FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Ryan McOliver made a precise shot to the right of Cathal Ferguson. Nutgrove AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ryan McOliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cathal Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brennon John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis Cooney having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brennon John in the 46th minute of play forced Rahans FC's goalkeeper Boethis Cooney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brennon John to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ryan McOliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rahans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan McOliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cathal Ferguson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Rahans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brennon John came free, but Boethis Cooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boethis Cooney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brennon John, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brennon John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ennis Gallagher's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Boethis Cooney firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 79th minute, Ailín Horgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Críostóir Ghee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bebhinn Doyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brennon John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Boethis Cooney managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Nutgrove AFC's Aaron Holt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brennon John received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boethis Cooney came out and tried to block the shot, but Brennon John slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 92nd minute. Brennon John received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Boethis Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nutgrove AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
