Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Braydon Harkin kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Braydon Harkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6th play minutes Braydon Harkin shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Caolán Dempsey and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 22nd minute Brendann Bayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caolán Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyne Harkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Reenroe getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Caimin McAlphie hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Bradner McTommy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caolán Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braydon Harkin in the 33rd minute of the match. Brendann Bayes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raymond Scully having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Braydon Harkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caolán Dempsey was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Bradner McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Raymond Scully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bradner McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reenroe's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradner McTommy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymond Scully breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bradner McTommy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Braydon Harkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reenroe's Caolán Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas Harkin might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caolán Dempsey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Harkin ran back to his position shaking his head. Braydon Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute of the match Brett Delaney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caolán Dempsey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Caolán Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Harkin in the 66th minute of the match. Thomas Harkin might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caolán Dempsey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Harkin ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, Braydon Harkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caolán Dempsey. Reenroe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braydon Harkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bradner McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kilberry FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
