After having played for 3 minutes, Benedict McJohn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedict McJohn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Kilberry FC's Thomas Harkin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbeirt McJames narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inches's Gilbeirt McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braydon Harkin in the 15th minute of play. Bourns Todd hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Kilberry FC's Thomas Harkin got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Kilberry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedict McJohn came free, but Raymond Scully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benedict McJohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hickey Gollogley struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Raymond Scully didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inches. Boyne Harkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gilbeirt McJames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbeirt McJames was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Braydon Harkin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Braydon Harkin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gilbeirt McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braydon Harkin in the 33rd minute of the match. Raymond Scully showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedict McJohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Braydon Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbeirt McJames having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedict McJohn made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Benedict McJohn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymond Scully took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict McJohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kilberry FC's Raymond Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict McJohn in the 57th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Kilberry FC got a freekick which was hit by Beary McBjarton. The audience was convinced that Braydon Harkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbeirt McJames was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. A collision led to Kilberry FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Phillip Todd hit a great ball. Raymond Scully made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Gollogley in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Inches's goal looked a bit too open when Braydon Harkin came free, but Gilbeirt McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Scully made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Bourns Todd sent off a good shot on target. Benedict McJohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Raymond Scully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Benedict McJohn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Braydon Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Braydon Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbeirt McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kilberry FC's Braydon Harkin got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kilberry FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
