After having played for 14 minutes, Bragain Caffrey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Laban getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fachtna Barrett hit a great ball. Beacan McLaughlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Murphy, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Bragain Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Laban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fachtna Barrett to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Bragain Caffrey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Beacan McLaughlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute Patton McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beacan McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyrone Murphy scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beacan McLaughlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Ballyshane players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laban were winning 0-2.

In the 51st minute, Bragain Caffrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyshane's zone, Tyrone Murphy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beacan McLaughlin came out of the goal and Tyrone Murphy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blair McSteve kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes, Ballyshane's Balor Caffey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fachtna Savic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ballyshane reached it. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Bragain Caffrey took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Beacan McLaughlin to make any attempt to save it. 67 minutes into the match, Laban's Bragain Caffrey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beacan McLaughlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Laban's Bragain Caffrey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beacan McLaughlin. Beacan McLaughlin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. If Ros Caffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tevin Rogers hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Balor Holt's late challenge caught a Ballyshane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balor Holt helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes, Ballyshane's Balor Caffey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fachtna Savic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Laban's Balor Holt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Balor Holt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Laban protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Balor Holt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Balor Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Fachtna Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balor Caffey in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Tyrone Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beacan McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
