Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ballyshane's Kevis McMichel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riley Coyle in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bairee McAaron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kevis McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beacan McLaughlin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kevis McMichel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bairee McAaron was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 35th play minute Beglan Cooney came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Beacan McLaughlin. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Rogers in the 38th minute of play forced Ballyshane's goalkeeper Beacan McLaughlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bairee McAaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevis McMichel in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Rogers to strike the kick off in the second half. Riley Coyle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Bairee McAaron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Ballyshane's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Rogers came free, but Beacan McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riley Coyle succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 56th playminute. In the 61st minute, Riley Coyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyshane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Kevis McMichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairee McAaron having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Balor Caffey shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Drumbrollisk's Bairee McAaron to catch but Balor Caffey was lucky. It became 1-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Beglan Cooney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beacan McLaughlin having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Ballyshane's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan Cooney came free, but Beacan McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ballyshane's Barhan Myler got a free kick in the 79th minute. Drumbrollisk's Alex Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alex Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beacan McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beglan Cooney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Drumbrollisk supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ballyshane's performance. The match ended with a win for Ballyshane.
