Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blathmacc Barrett started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Bohannon Kelly cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Raonall Gough was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raonall Gough was a little too slow when Bohannon Kelly got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gortaheera's Bohannon Kelly got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gortaheera's Barry McDonald got a free kick in the 19th minute. Toran Deans, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute, Barry McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Culdaly AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Petran McWilliam hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gortaheera's Barry McDonald got a free kick in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Bohannon Kelly could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Raonall Gough however easily saved by the left post. Bohannon Kelly scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raonall Gough, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barry McDonald hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rory Scully showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petran McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Fiachra McCollion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rory Scully was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bohannon Kelly to make the kick off. Raonall Gough didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bohannon Kelly went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Bohannon Kelly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raonall Gough having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bohannon Kelly in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raonall Gough saved Culdaly AFC from getting behind. Becan Prunty made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Blathmacc Barrett. After 79 minutes of play, Culdaly AFC's Peadar McVictor made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rory Scully was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Peadar McVictor in the 87th minute of play forced Gortaheera's goalkeeper Rory Scully to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohannon Kelly in the 90th minute of play forced Culdaly AFC's goalkeeper Raonall Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-3 when Bohannon Kelly sped through Culdaly AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raonall Gough. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Rory Scully successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Toran Deans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rory Scully. Gortaheera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gortaheera's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
