Bebhinn Moran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayes Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rorke Ghee hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kilmacow's Auley McAlphie got a free kick in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Casey Lester made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kilmacow getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Quaid McLian hit a great ball. Pauric Dalton took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebhinn Moran. Bebhinn Moran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caoilte Molloy during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 68 minutes into the game, Fionn Dimson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Keefe Tierney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Kilmacow's goalkeeper Bebhinn Moran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pauric Dalton. If Caoilte Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pauric Dalton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Bebhinn Moran made a huge save. If Fionn Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rineanna's Keefe Tierney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caoilte Molloy in the 93rd minute of play. Caoilte Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
