Harvey Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braedon Benson in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Runalunn FC's Braonain Ghee got a free kick in the 36th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braedon Benson to make the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Tiomoid Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killachonna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiomoid Prunty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braedon Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Harvey Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Tiomoid Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killachonna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiomoid Prunty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Braedon Benson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Killachonna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedon Benson couldn't finish the play. If Thomas Bayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Runalunn FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard McJohn. In the 83rd minute, Tiomoid Prunty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 84 played minutes Runalunn FC got a freekick which was hit by Bera McDecland. 86 minutes into the match, Runalunn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braedon Benson came free, but Harvey Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Killachonna's Colmcille Murphy got a free kick in the 89th minute. Braedon Benson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Harvey Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Killachonna failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
