Fionn Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donald Beckett hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Kilmacow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breslin McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Torrey Mulvihill charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torrey Mulvihill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Runalunn FC booed when Kilmacow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrey Mulvihill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donald Beckett kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Caoilte Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd match minute, Kilmacow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torrey Mulvihill to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Kilmacow's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard McJohn came free, but Bebhinn Moran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harvey Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fionn Dimson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caoilte Molloy in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caoilte Molloy made a kick off. Kilmacow were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Runalunn FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brennen Bayes took the corner. Fionn Dimson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Harvey Johnson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fionn Dimson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Kilmacow's Caoilte Molloy got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caoilte Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin McCollion hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes, Peadair Robinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Runalunn FC and the Kilmacow players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Fionn Dimson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmacow's supporters rose to their feet, but Fionn Dimson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harvey Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Runalunn FC's goalkeeper Harvey Johnson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Kilmacow left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Runalunn FC.
