Breccan Brennan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Kelly in the 20th minute of the match. Breccan Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Kelly in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Millioners's Art McBrand got a free kick in the 24th minute. Patrick Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Breccan Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, FC Millioners's Peter McGlenn seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Peter McGlenn the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Millioners protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Peter McGlenn had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score was 2-0 after a penalty in the 32nd minute, where Castle Celtic:s Douglas Ramsey tricked FC Millioners:s Breccan Brennan with a difficult ball by the left post. When Patrick Kelly came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Castle Celtic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Kelly couldn't finish the play. Breccan Brennan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Breccan Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Kelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, FC Millioners's goalkeeper Breccan Brennan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred McDonald. FC Millioners's Breccan Brennan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Kelly in the 44th minute of play. Alfred McDonald struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Breccan Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castle Celtic. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Art McBrand to strike the kick off in the second half. Tipraite Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breccan Brennan having to interfere. The supporters of Castle Celtic booed when FC Millioners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Art McBrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breccan Brennan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred McDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Breccan Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Kelly in the 57th minute of play. Alfred McDonald struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Breccan Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castle Celtic. Breccan Brennan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in FC Millioners's zone, Alfred McDonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breccan Brennan came out of the goal and Alfred McDonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alfred McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rordan McGlynn kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Castle Celtic's goal looked a bit too open when Hewney Mulvihill came free, but Colmcille Gough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breccan Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Kelly in the 85th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Castle Celtic's Bec Willson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
