Spectators: 8011 (Terracing: 6010, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Logan Rutherford got the match started through his kick off. If Gordon Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Bantry Mulvihill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bree Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Oughteragh United got a freekick which was hit by Logan Rutherford. In the 14th match minute, Freneystown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giles McOliver to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bree Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bree Keegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Prunty in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Prunty in the 27th minute of play forced Oughteragh United's goalkeeper Bree Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freneystown's Aengus Rutherford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Freneystown from getting a goal against them. Bree Keegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th play minute Gearard Ferguson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aengus Rutherford. 1-0. Logan Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aengus Rutherford having to interfere. Bree Keegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bantry Mulvihill in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bantry Mulvihill made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Bardon Silke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oughteragh United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freneystown the free kick. After a rather tough play, Oughteragh United's Bardon Silke got a free kick in the 55th minute. A hard shot by Belock Todd from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Bree Keegan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Oughteragh United's Bardon Silke got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Bardon Silke off the ground. Gordon Prunty kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 60thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Oughteragh United's keeper Bree Keegan was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Bree Keegan was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Bantry Mulvihill capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bantry Mulvihill really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Bree Keegan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 78th minute, Colm Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon Prunty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gordon Prunty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bree Keegan having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Oughteragh United's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Prunty came free, but Bree Keegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gordon Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freneystown's supporters rose to their feet, but Gordon Prunty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bree Keegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Oughteragh United's zone, Bantry Mulvihill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bree Keegan came out of the goal and Bantry Mulvihill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Gordon Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freneystown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordon Prunty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match, Gordon Prunty got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bree Keegan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
