Brannagh McWillie was slow to take the kick. During this time Galway Footballers's players had a chance to rest. Brannagh McWillie made a great header on Galway Footballers's corner, it was just that Glacknabrade's Barde Sheridan managed to reach the ball for a save.

Barde Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rownun McMichel in the 55th minute of the match.
