Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emmet McWilliam made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Deans in the 5th minute of play forced Rathmolyon Utd's goalkeeper Kevinn McCollion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, glory fc's Sean Hamilton got control of the ball when Bran Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes Rathmolyon Utd got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Hamilton. 13 minutes into the match, glory fc's goalkeeper Sean Hamilton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bran Byrne. 16 minutes into the game, Robin Deans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kevinn McCollion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmolyon Utd's zone, Robin Deans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevinn McCollion came out of the goal and Robin Deans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rathmolyon Utd's Emmet McWilliam got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emmet McWilliam charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmet McWilliam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rathmolyon Utd's Emmet McWilliam got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 39th minute, Finnigan McJon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The glory fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The wind increased when Finnigan McJon made the kick off in the second half. Robin Deans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Kevinn McCollion when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Finnigan McJon came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the glory fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Finnigan McJon couldn't finish the play. After 58 played minutes glory fc got a freekick which was hit by Caoilte Scully. Roland McNamara's late challenge caught a Rathmolyon Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland McNamara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, glory fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland McNamara to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Roland McNamara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irwin McSteven, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bran Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bran Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Hamilton having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Rathmolyon Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Begg Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. Emmet McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sean Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bran Byrne took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sean Hamilton. Sean Hamilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Finnigan McJon came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the glory fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Finnigan McJon couldn't finish the play. After having played for 94 minutes, Emmet McWilliam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathmolyon Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmet McWilliam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
