Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barney McCready started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Firmount's goal looked a bit too open when Gaynor Gollogley came free, but Blathmacc McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Torran McCollion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Firmount fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Barney McCready blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artuir Deans having to make a save. Artuir Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rordan McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute Kerrigan Colwell suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rourke McWilliam during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rourke McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Blathmacc McLaughlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cullan Murphy in the 15th minute of play. If Gaynor Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blathmacc McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaynor Gollogley in the 20th minute of the match. Barney McCready succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. Blathmacc McLaughlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaynor Gollogley's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 37 played minutes Firmount got a freekick which was hit by Torran McCollion. Brenden McJohnny charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brenden McJohnny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Brenden McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaynor Gollogley's late challenge caught a Firmount's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaynor Gollogley helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Doolin got a freekick which was hit by Gaynor Gollogley. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney McCready in the 54th minute of play forced Doolin's goalkeeper Artuir Deans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barney McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artuir Deans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rordan McJon's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Artuir Deans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rordan McJon in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Barney McCready's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artuir Deans was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Doolin's goal looked a bit too open when Rordan McJon came free, but Artuir Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doolin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barney McCready was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When Firmount's Rordan McJon in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Doolin's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute Trevor McAlphie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artuir Deans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Firmount fully deserved thier win.
