Cleary Myler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 24 minutes, Shannon Ferguson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ray and the Littleton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ray getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Shannon Ferguson hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Torrans Benson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Littleton and the Ray players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Littleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torrans Benson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ray booed when Littleton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conleth Brennan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes, Ray's Cianán McTom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás McCollion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ray reached it. Tomás McCollion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleary Myler in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Bowen Jameson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Littleton's Tomás McCollion. Tomás McCollion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
Ray's Bowen Jameson got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cleary Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás McCollion having to interfere. Baird Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cianán McTom, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 59th minute Cleary Myler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cianán McTom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás McCollion. Littleton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bowen Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás McCollion having to interfere. Tomás McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleary Myler, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Cleary Myler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Bowen Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Shannon Gallagher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Littleton the free kick. If Colmcille Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald Jameson might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinny McLiam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerald Jameson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bowen Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Littleton got a freekick which was hit by Baird Rutherford. Cleary Myler scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás McCollion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerald Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinny McLiam having to interfere. When Bowen Jameson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bowen Jameson couldn't finish the play. Littleton's Tomás McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowen Jameson in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Teagan McWillie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Littleton the free kick. Ray's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
