Riddock Tierney was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bradaigh Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baoithin McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donohill's Riddock Tierney was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bowie Colwell kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darick McPhil in the 20th minute of play forced Donohill's goalkeeper Leonard Kelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Baoithin McCready took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bradaigh Taylor to make any attempt to save it. Baoithin McCready blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bradaigh Taylor having to make a save. In the 36th minute Baoithin McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradaigh Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riddock Tierney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riddock Tierney succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 42nd playminute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darick McPhil was the one to do the kick off. Riddock Tierney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Baoithin McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Riddock Tierney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Baoithin McCready notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Bohemian FC's Bradaigh Taylor. Bradaigh Taylor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darick McPhil in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Bohemian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baoithin McCready came free, but Bradaigh Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Donohill's Gilbert McPhil got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Baoithin McCready who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bohemian FC's Bradaigh Taylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bowie Colwell hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Blanaid McGlynn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradaigh Taylor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Darick McPhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Kelly having to interfere. Baoithin McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bradaigh Taylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quinton Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Donohill had played much better football throughout.
