Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baoithin Gough took the kick off in the first half of the match. Baoithin Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Leansaghane's goal looked a bit too open when Golaki McGillegowie came free, but Brian Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Riddock Tierney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Beatty Doherty struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Brian Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mad Souls™. Brian Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Brunø, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mad Souls™'s zone, Baoithin Gough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Ahlbeck came out of the goal and Baoithin Gough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riddock Tierney in the 25th minute of the match. Sebastián Brunø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Sebastián Brunø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Johnson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mad Souls™'s Riddock Tierney got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brian Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riddock Tierney, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Brian Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golaki McGillegowie in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Beatty Doherty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mad Souls™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Golaki McGillegowie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Riddock Tierney made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riddock Tierney in the 57th minute of play forced Leansaghane's goalkeeper Brian Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordan Horgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradain McLaughlin made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Johan-Sebastián Rekawiczka. Denny Caffey's late challenge caught a Mad Souls™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denny Caffey helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Leansaghane getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Denny Caffey hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Leansaghane's goal looked a bit too open when Riddock Tierney came free, but Brian Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Golaki McGillegowie took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Brian Johnson to make any attempt to save it. 80 minutes into the match, Sebastián Brunø notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Leansaghane's Brian Johnson. Brian Johnson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riddock Tierney in the 86th minute of play forced Leansaghane's goalkeeper Brian Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Leansaghane's Brian Johnson got control of the ball when Golaki McGillegowie tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Mad Souls™'s Beatty Doherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Johnson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leansaghane's Brian Johnson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Leansaghane from getting a goal against them.
