Spectators: 7950 (Terracing: 5964, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas McBrandon started the match with the kick off. Baydan Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Gallagher having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Reamann Palmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berna M1L GRAU and the Rahan Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reamann Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Alan Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patton Quinnless, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Berna M1L GRAU's Harrigan McWillie made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trevor Gallagher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Ryan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacey McWillie in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harrigan McWillie during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berna M1L GRAU's Harrigan McWillie got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes, Donan McGlynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rahan Utd and the Berna M1L GRAU players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Donan McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Berna M1L GRAU getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Baydan Sheridan hit a great ball. Cacey McWillie came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alan Ryan could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas McBrandon in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trevor Gallagher saved Rahan Utd from getting behind. If Thomas McBrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the game, Rahan Utd's Bedilia McGlynn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alan Ryan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 35th minute, Thomas McBrandon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trevor Gallagher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baydan Sheridan in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Baydan Sheridan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berna M1L GRAU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baydan Sheridan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Rahan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas McBrandon came free, but Trevor Gallagher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas McBrandon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacey McWillie in the 52nd minute of play forced Berna M1L GRAU's goalkeeper Alan Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Thomas McBrandon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Harrigan McWillie came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Berna M1L GRAU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harrigan McWillie couldn't finish the play. Baydan Sheridan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trevor Gallagher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Harrigan McWillie notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rahan Utd's Trevor Gallagher. Trevor Gallagher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reamann Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Rahan Utd's goalkeeper Trevor Gallagher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baydan Sheridan. Trevor Gallagher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas McBrandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Harrigan McWillie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berna M1L GRAU's Alan Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedilia McGlynn in the 76th minute of play. Glenn Tierney kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Thomas McBrandon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rahan Utd's Trevor Gallagher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reamann Palmer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Berna M1L GRAU's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Benjamin Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harrigan McWillie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harrigan McWillie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Gallagher having to interfere. Trevor Gallagher made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Thomas McBrandon sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Rahan Utd getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Herygh Horgan hit a great ball. Berna M1L GRAU's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
