Dublin Athlétic™'s Colm Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paudraig McLaughlin in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Illanbaun Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudibiua McFrank to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Gilian Kelly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duff McPhil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Illanbaun Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Fiachra Delaney came free, but Duff McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bairee McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brayden McSteven's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Colm Kirby skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paudraig McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Kirby having to interfere. Paudraig McLaughlin struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Colm Kirby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Illanbaun Utd. 34 minutes into the match, Illanbaun Utd's Paudraig McLaughlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colm Kirby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Dublin Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Colm Kirby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brayden McSteven. Paudraig McLaughlin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Colm Kirby 38 minutes into the match. Brayden McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Kirby having to interfere.

Brayden McSteven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kyle Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Paudraig McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brayden McSteven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Colm Kirby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paudraig McLaughlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Colm Kirby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paudraig McLaughlin in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colm Kirby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colm Kirby came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Illanbaun Utd's Brayden McSteven. But to his dismay, Brayden McSteven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 85th minute Paudraig McLaughlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colm Kirby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paudraig McLaughlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Illanbaun Utd's Terrence McBrand got a free kick in the 94th minute. Brayden McSteven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Illanbaun Utd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
