Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Quinn McBrandon kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Coorleagh getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Devlin Walker hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Quinn McBrandon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beltany Horgan. Coorleagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quinn McBrandon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Finian McFrancise's late challenge caught a Coorleagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Finian McFrancise helped the player get up and apologised. Coorleagh's Finnigan Branson got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Quinn McBrandon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coorleagh's Beltany Horgan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Patrick McDecland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fahamore's Salmon McJohn got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 31 played minutes Coorleagh got a freekick which was hit by Eoghan Kirby. In the 32nd minute, Donald McLian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Gallagher during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilbert Gallagher hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Kain McLian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finnigan Branson in the 40th minute of play. When Caimin Myler fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fahamore's protests and gave Caimin Myler a yellow card for diving instead. Kain McLian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Finnigan Branson went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finnigan Branson was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fahamore's zone, Finnigan Branson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kain McLian came out of the goal and Finnigan Branson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 played minutes Coorleagh got a freekick which was hit by Eoghan Kirby. Finnigan Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rory Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick McDecland hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fahamore's Finian McFrancise got a free kick in the 80th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Fahamore's goal looked a bit too open when Finnigan Branson came free, but Kain McLian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beltany Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinn McBrandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fahamore's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
