Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bresal Keegan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Royan Deans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aaden Ryan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Porridgetown defense, Turlough Hutton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaden Ryan. The Porridgetown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaden Ryan should have stopped the shot. Turlough Hutton scored 0-3 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaden Ryan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 17 minutes, Barclay Holt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porridgetown and the Geisill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Porridgetown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barclay Holt to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Geisill FC's Bat McWilliam made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaden Ryan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiarnan McAaron scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaden Ryan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Royan Deans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. In the 33rd minute, Geisill FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bresal Keegan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Donan Hamilton charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donan Hamilton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donan Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Aaden Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bat McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute Barde Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaden Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Bat McWilliam made a precise shot to the right of Aaden Ryan. Porridgetown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Turlough Hutton was the one to do the kick off. When Geisill FC's Turlough Hutton in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aaden Ryan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barde Lester showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 61 minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Porridgetown's goalkeeper Aaden Ryan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bat McWilliam. In the 73rd minute, Turlough Hutton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geisill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. When Bresal Keegan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Porridgetown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bresal Keegan couldn't finish the play. Bresal Keegan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beiti Cronin hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Royan Deans during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Geisill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Royan Deans to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Geisill FC's Aaden Ryan threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Turlough Hutton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Aaden Ryan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 96th minute Turlough Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaden Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaden Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turlough Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geisill FC played a much better game than Porridgetown and deserved their victory. The Porridgetown players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
