Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Babe Duggan got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Tiarnan McJohnny suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Cian Brennan fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geevagh's protests and gave Cian Brennan a yellow card for diving instead. Beatty Ramsey took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teigue Crowe. Teigue Crowe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bell Colwell didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a rather tough play, Attinkee's Cahir Dunne got a free kick in the 20th minute. Bran McCollion made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Samuel Benson however managed to control. 26 minutes into the match, Attinkee's goalkeeper Bell Colwell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babe Duggan. Babe Duggan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Bell Colwell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 31 minutes into the match, Geevagh's goal looked a bit too open when Beatty Ramsey came free, but Teigue Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Cahir Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teigue Crowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cahir Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Bran McCollion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Attinkee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geevagh the free kick. After 41 played minutes Attinkee got a freekick which was hit by Bran McCollion. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beatty Ramsey to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play Attinkee's Cahir Dunne was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Attinkee getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cahir Dunne hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bat McSteven in the 63rd minute of play forced Attinkee's goalkeeper Bell Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Babe Duggan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bell Colwell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bresal Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Geevagh's Teigue Crowe got control of the ball when Adamnan Robinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Babe Duggan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beatty Ramseys short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Teigue Crowe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
