Rusheens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Walker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 40th minute, Pearse McWilliam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bairrionn Callaghan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 76th minute, Pearse McWilliam made a precise shot to the right of Bairrionn Callaghan. Rusheens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Bairrionn Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Walker in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Rusheens got a freekick which was hit by George Cooney.
