After a rather tough play, Feegavla's Torna Sheridan got a free kick in the 10th minute. Muhsin Evcimen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Feegavla got a freekick which was hit by Rollin Kelly. In the 16th match minute, Feegavla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donegal McAaron to maneuver through the defense. Donleavy Delaney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fintan Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petran McPeter hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Feegavla booed when Dundalk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Dillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fintan Doherty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donleavy Delaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Feegavla's Donleavy Delaney got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Bard Cronin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fintan Doherty was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kyle Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Robinson made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Dundalk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bard Cronin came free, but Fintan Doherty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fintan Doherty didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Feegavla's Bard Cronin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Fintan Doherty made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Bard Cronin sent off a good shot on target. Bard Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fintan Doherty didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bard Cronin went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the game, Bard Cronin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fintan Doherty. Bard Cronin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Berk Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Breenan Keegan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Muhsin Evcimen. Feegavla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donleavy Delaney shot from long distance in the 92nd minute, but Fintan Doherty was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bard Cronin in the 95th minute of play forced Dundalk FC's goalkeeper Fintan Doherty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Feegavla eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
