Ninfield's Simon Kaye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chesney Middleton in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Birmingham Blaze United booed when Ninfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayne Tubbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Booth in the 14th minute of play forced Ninfield's goalkeeper Simon Kaye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Kaye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Booth, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Zack Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joey Deveraux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orson Stamp got free with Joey Deveraux in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ronny Booth came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Birmingham Blaze United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Booth couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ninfield booed when Birmingham Blaze United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Jackson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ronny Booth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Simon Kaye when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 58th match minute, Ninfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Dickens to maneuver through the defense. Simon Kaye acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Chesney Middleton. Simon Kaye was a little too slow when Chesney Middleton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Zack Dickens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Dickens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Kaye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chesney Middleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to Birmingham Blaze United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Brian Blake hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Louie Bridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Booth took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Kaye. Simon Kaye dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Birmingham Blaze United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
