In the 5th minute Damion Goacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geoff Barton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liscard's Geoff Barton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damion Goacher in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Lawrence Pitts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Manchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lawrence Pitts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ollie Crtichell to make the kick off. A collision led to Liscard getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Conal Downes hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Damion Goacher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liscard's Geoff Barton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Terry Webster blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geoff Barton having to make a save. Damion Goacher in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geoff Barton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. North Manchester FC's Allan Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Wooding in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, John Dixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Liscard's Roger Pitts tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Damion Goacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Geoff Barton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damion Goacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lawrence Pitts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Damion Goacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geoff Barton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Damion Goacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geoff Barton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. North Manchester FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
