Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barry Slater kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Kemsing AFC's Shaun Hudson got control of the ball when Crispin Ratcliffe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Middleton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rich Slator to maneuver through the defense. Shawn Saxton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Shaun Hudson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shawn Saxton got free with Shaun Hudson in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zaq Weatherhead charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zaq Weatherhead the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kemsing AFC's Zaq Weatherhead got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Middleton's Marty Sercombe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Joel Hoult had several of the Kemsing AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Shaun Hudson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tosh Fenwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kemsing AFC's Shaun Hudson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Sercombe in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Kemsing AFC's Shaun Hudson got control of the ball when Marty Sercombe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shaun Hudson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Fenwick in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Joel Hoult reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shaun Hudson. The goal made the score 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Hoult made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ben Hitchcock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Middleton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Hitchcock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Joel Hoult sped through Kemsing AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Shaun Hudson. With a little luck, Middleton's Victor Backhouse got control of the ball when Clive Welsh tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Hoult in the 70th minute of play forced Kemsing AFC's goalkeeper Shaun Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kemsing AFC's Ash Cawood got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tosh Fenwick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kemsing AFC's zone, Tosh Fenwick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shaun Hudson came out of the goal and Tosh Fenwick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Kemsing AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Clive Welsh hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Shawn Saxton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaun Hudson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Hoult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Middleton's Tosh Fenwick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shaun Hudson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Middleton's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
