Spectators: 7419 (Terracing: 5565, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tommy Dodgson kicked off to start the match. Jonny Wardman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blair Broom went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ivor McAleer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 played minutes F.C. Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by James Lennon. Duncan Impey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duncan Impey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jonny Wardman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Leeds AFC's zone, Tommy Dodgson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Crabtree came out of the goal and Tommy Dodgson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Crabtree took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Dodgson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Leeds AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rob Ashford. Perry Turner shot from long distance in the 26th minute, but David Crabtree was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 29 played minutes, Leeds AFC's Frank Cambridge shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonny Wardman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leeds AFC reached it. In the 31st minute, Zane Johnstone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leeds AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Ivor McAleer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Wardman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zane Johnstone in the 43rd minute of the match. If Zane Johnstone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Dodgson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Crabtree having to interfere. After the first half Leeds AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zane Johnstone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zane Johnstone in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonny Wardman saved F.C. Liverpool from getting behind. Zane Johnstone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonny Wardman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zane Johnstone in the 56th minute. Ivor McAleer struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. David Crabtree didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Liverpool. If Tommy Dodgson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute of the match Neil Hislop sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Crabtree skillfully saved the ball. When Leeds AFC's Zane Johnstone in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Liverpool's goalie prevented a goal. Benji Goodfellow kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, F.C. Liverpool's goalkeeper Jonny Wardman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duncan Impey. In the 74th minute, Duncan Impey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zane Johnstone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Wardman having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Tommy Dodgson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. David Crabtree was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zane Johnstone in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. Liverpool's Jonny Wardman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zane Johnstone in the 86th minute of play. Jonny Wardman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zane Johnstone, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Leeds AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
