Al Coton made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Kristian Hook sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Cranbrook AFC's Al Coton got control of the ball when Kristian Hook tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes red army fc got a freekick which was hit by Simon Mawson. Darryl Nethercoat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Al Coton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steven Robinson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Al Coton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Nethercoat, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 27 played minutes red army fc got a freekick which was hit by Ashley Cross. 31 minutes into the match, Cranbrook AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Nethercoat came free, but Al Coton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Darryl Nethercoat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Hook could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Al Coton made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Frank Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Darryl Nethercoat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Joel Hewitt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cranbrook AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave red army fc the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Joel Hewitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. red army fc's Simon Mawson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cranbrook AFC. A collision led to Cranbrook AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Joel Hewitt hit a great ball. 48 minutes in the game, Kristian Hook dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gez Clarke made a kick off. Al Coton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Nethercoat, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Cranbrook AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Hook came free, but Al Coton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in red army fc's zone, Damion Winship stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylon Goodwick came out of the goal and Damion Winship tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Al Coton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Nethercoat in the 65th minute of play. Kristian Hook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Coton having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cranbrook AFC's Romeo Clarkson got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when red army fc's Kristian Hook fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Cranbrook AFC's Al Coton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Niven in the 75th minute of play. Gez Clarke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dylon Goodwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darryl Nethercoat's late challenge caught a Cranbrook AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darryl Nethercoat helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cranbrook AFC booed when red army fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Nethercoat didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cranbrook AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Damion Winship hit a great ball. When red army fc's Darryl Nethercoat in 93 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Al Coton guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Darryl Nethercoat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cranbrook AFC's Al Coton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Hook in the 98th minute of play. red army fc were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
