The referee showed Bradley Hollingsworth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradley Hollingsworth to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Leicester booed when Norby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Parrott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fitz Grigg kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Leicester's Rob Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Holdroyd in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Leicester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin McDonald to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester's zone, Ash Barratt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Delaney came out of the goal and Ash Barratt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Bradley Hollingsworth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradley Hollingsworth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leicester's Rob Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ash Barratt in the 20th minute of play. Bradley Hollingsworth was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 22nd match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradley Hollingsworth to maneuver through the defense. If Ash Barratt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Ash Barratt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ash Barratt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Barratt in the 29th minute of play forced Leicester's goalkeeper Rob Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ash Barratt struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rob Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norby. When Ash Barratt came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Norby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ash Barratt couldn't finish the play. After 38 played minutes Leicester got a freekick which was hit by Fitz Grigg. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester's goalkeeper Rob Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ash Barratt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darren Rundell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rob Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ash Barratt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Delaney having to interfere. Rob Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylon Dixon in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fitz Grigg made the kick off in the second half. Franz Parrott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Delaney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester's zone, Ash Barratt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Delaney came out of the goal and Ash Barratt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester's goalkeeper Rob Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Leicester getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fitz Grigg hit a great ball. Ash Barratt might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Delaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ash Barratt ran back to his position shaking his head. Franz Parrott took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rob Delaney. Rob Delaney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Don Platt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Ash Barratt put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rob Delaney. After 69 played minutes Leicester got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Theobald. Sammy Holdroyd took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rob Delaney. Leicester's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Ash Barratt made a precise shot to the right of Rob Delaney. Leicester's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 80 minutes into the game, Norby's Ash Barratt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rob Delaney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Leicester's Rob Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Parrott in the 87th minute of play. Rob Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ash Barratt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Ash Barratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Ash Barratt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester's Rob Delaney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ash Barratt succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Norby fully deserved thier win.
