After some careless play in the Chelmsford City defense, Ash Butterworth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keanu Hayles. The Chelmsford City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keanu Hayles should have stopped the shot. Jay Wildman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game, Rich Stone dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Keanu Hayles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ash Butterworth in the 44th minute of the match. After 49 minutes, Tosh Lonsdale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ironville and the Chelmsford City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ironville getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Tosh Lonsdale hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alec Rowett to make the kick off. In the 83rdth minute of the game Rich Stone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelmsford City's Keanu Hayles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Philip Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ross Llyod in the 85th minute of the match. Keanu Hayles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Stone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chelmsford City's zone, Rich Stone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keanu Hayles came out of the goal and Rich Stone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Ironville's Rich Stone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keanu Hayles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ironville's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
