Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Piers Webster made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Benji Searle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rio Simms stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Austin Bellamy's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The supporters of Staines City booed when Tundra Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Phimister didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Boyle in the 13th minute of play forced Staines City's goalkeeper Jordan Rowett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordan Rowett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piers Webster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Paul Jones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rio Simms having to make a save. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Staines City's goalkeeper Jordan Rowett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Piers Webster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piers Webster might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordan Rowett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piers Webster ran back to his position shaking his head. Jordan Rowett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen Boyle in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Ozzy Parry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tundra Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staines City the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Tundra Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ozzy Parry to maneuver through the defense. Piers Webster's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jordan Rowett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Piers Webster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Tundra Team's Glen Boyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordan Rowett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Piers Webster's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jordan Rowett was relentless in the 49th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Austin Bellamy made a kick off. If Piers Webster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piers Webster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jordan Rowett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Webster in the 69th minute of play. Piers Webster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jordan Rowett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes, Tundra Team's Carlton Price shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jordan Rowett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tundra Team reached it. Staines City's Jordan Rowett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Staines City from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Austin Bellamy made a precise shot to the right of Rio Simms. Tundra Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
