Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wes Willetts kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Geoff Fairbank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Gavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, James Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes, Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's Jake Floyd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Al Gavan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Snailbeach and Stiperstones United reached it. Curtis Wardle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curtis Wardle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 18th minute Geoff Fairbank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Gavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billie Middleton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vic Jackson in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Snailbeach and Stiperstones United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rufus Sutherland hit a great ball. Geoff Fairbank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Gavan having to interfere. Billie Middleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Willetts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Jackson came free, but Billie Middleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geoff Fairbank made a kick off. Lee Swift hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wes Willetts in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billie Middleton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Curtis Wardle made a precise shot to the right of Al Gavan. Belvedere FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Geoff Fairbank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Snailbeach and Stiperstones United booed when Belvedere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Sandell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Al Gavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Wardle in the 75th minute of the match. Belvedere FC's Al Gavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Fairbank in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Snailbeach and Stiperstones United booed when Belvedere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Reed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belvedere FC's Al Gavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Fairbank in the 86th minute of play. Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's Billie Middleton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Snailbeach and Stiperstones United from getting a goal against them. Geoff Fairbank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Gavan having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Snailbeach and Stiperstones United had won after a very even match.
