With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeff Rowell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Keith Britton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeff Rowell. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Capes in the 46th minute of play forced Cereal FC's goalkeeper Eddy Scrivener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Luke Capes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chupayees City & Crantlee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luke Capes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Trevor Burton struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jeff Rowell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cereal FC. Joshua Parkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christopher Fry fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cereal FC's protests and gave Christopher Fry a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cereal FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Christopher Fry hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Chupayees City & Crantlee got a freekick which was hit by Gary Capes. When Joshua Parkin came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cereal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Parkin couldn't finish the play. Jeff Rowell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Parkin in the 74th minute of the match. Joshua Parkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeff Rowell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Eddy Scrivener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Webster, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Joshua Parkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, Chupayees City & Crantlee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Donnelly to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Joshua Parkin put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jeff Rowell. Joshua Parkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cereal FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chupayees City & Crantlee for a fine match.
