Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damon Dingle got the match started through his kick off. Sid Beavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jay Woodhouse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trevor Brookman in the 6th minute. Trevor Brookman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Woodhouse having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rawmarsh's goalkeeper Jay Woodhouse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, Walton Warriors F.C's Trevor Brookman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jay Woodhouse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jay Woodhouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Beavan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Walton Warriors F.C's Bob Peake got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Rawmarsh's Damon Dingle in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walton Warriors F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Frank Bannatyne shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Trevor Brookman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Johnathon Hayles fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rawmarsh's protests and gave Johnathon Hayles a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Rawmarsh got a freekick which was hit by Johnathon Hayles. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Trevor Brookman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walton Warriors F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Trevor Brookman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay Woodhouse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jay Woodhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Beavan in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sid Beavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the game, Sid Beavan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jay Woodhouse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Peake during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Walton Warriors F.C's Sid Beavan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Walton Warriors F.C's Sid Beavan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jay Woodhouse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 74 minutes into the game, Sid Beavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walton Warriors F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rawmarsh the free kick. Sid Beavan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Walton Warriors F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bob Peake. Sid Beavan took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jay Woodhouse. Jay Woodhouse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jay Woodhouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Beavan in the 86th minute of the match. Walton Warriors F.C's Trevor Brookman got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darius Rooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jay Woodhouse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Walton Warriors F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
